Seriously Orion is terrible, it's one of the worst anime I've ever seen even taking out my bias coming from original inazuma eleven, I can't see anything of value to it. Rewatch original inazuma eleven FFI arc, in 13 episode I sure as hell saw the focus on a lot of different characters and the matches were enjoyable.

Matches are literally unwatchable for the animation, and then you add on top of it, literally every hissatsu being ok to bad(every goalkeeper hissatsu is missing their power, they dont struggle to catch how am I supposed to feel the intensity? It's not inazuma eleven anymore it's soccer), every match being more about the story than the match(while the story is mediocre too) and literally having a cast of full star and having 90% of them doing absolutely nothing. I know that animators have hard time and the scheduling can be a mess but god didn't they take like 3 week off to reschedule and it's still THIS bad.
Oh boy is this a big pile of shit, I've never seen such off-putting animation before. I would consider Kidokawa vs Seishou and Raimon vs Aliea the best of Ares and make the anime passable(with few good part scattered too like the Hakuren match which wasnt super good but had good part). The match being the biggest offense, no seriously who had a thought of making literally every defender and goalkeeper useless for 90% of Ares? Inazuma has always had a bias on Forwards but god I have never seen such useless defense and goalkeeper and such mediocre midfielder.ĭespite all that Ares still is enjoyable, the animation was watchable, the matches while not being the best were still enjoyable in some way or another(especially by having the old character appear even if they weren't useful) and finally there was some good moments. It has nothing the original and go had, good animation, intense matches, amazing soundtrack. Original>Go(include chrono and galaxy)>Ares>OrionĪries while having it's good stuff is literally terrible in my eyes. Ares and Orion are shit they don't even deserve a place in my memory while original Inazuma eleven was the best(not a bias I rewatched it in 2017-2018) and go being enjoyable enough.
